We had a good discussion with JPG the other day. I think we are going to figure out a show for February/March.
Can we start to nail down who is able to fill specific roles?

Christine, you seem like a natural fit for marketing/press/promotion, no?
The submission person is key, though. It's also good to have a volunteer coordinator and someone who can work on fundraising. There is also usually a general production person, who can help secure venue, projector, audio, seating, etc. . .
We have a phone meeting with JPG on Thurs. Is there anything we should address?

I've reached out to my friend with space in PotHill and the APA connection. should we figure out who will be in charge of submissions, marketing/getting the word out, location... organizational stuff?

don't know how I can help but willing to spread the word to my photography minded friends and co-workers. It seems like there are a few solid ideas on potential host venues. If for some reason you find they aren't working out, CellSpace in the mission or maybe the SOMARTS center on 8th and Brannan

hey there. just checking in - has a date been set for the upcoming SLPS in SF? are we looking at October at this point? I am happy to help out again. I could promote/market the event, as well as help get photographers to submit? help with a venue? let me know where things stand and we can go from there. hope all are well! Christine
